Jul 28, 2026 | By Oliver Bennett

Perceptual Robotics, a wind technology company based in the UK, has secured more than £4 million in funding so far this year.
The funding includes investments from both new and existing shareholders, including Investing for Purpose, Loggerhead Ventures, and One Planet Capital.
The company also received support through a program co-funded by Innovate UK, which is part of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI).
The company says it has developed its products by working closely with wind farm operators, service providers, and blade experts. This collaboration has helped it create features such as autonomous drone inspections, AI-powered damage detection, the Repair Now Ratio, and easy integration with other platforms.

Founded in 2016, Perceptual Robotics develops autonomous technology to inspect wind turbines. Its solutions help make turbine inspections faster, safer, and more efficient for both onshore and offshore wind farms.
The company is based at Bristol Robotics Laboratory and Future Space. It uses advanced robotics and AI technology to help wind farm operators improve turbine maintenance and reduce downtime.
