Barcelona-based Opereit Raises $2.5 Million Funding Led By Seedcamp And Yellow

The round was led by Seedcamp and Yellow, the venture fund founded by Glovo co-founders Oscar Pierre and Sacha Michaud, with participation from Baobab Ventures, Kima Ventures, Enzo Ventures, OPRTRS, Masia, and several international angel investors.

Opereit focuses on a major inefficiency in the logistics industry, where companies often lose money due to billing errors, missing shipments and unclaimed credits. The company estimates that more than $1 trillion in value goes unrecovered each year due to fragmented processes and weak claims management systems.

Its AI-powered platform deploys agents that automatically detect and recover funds from transportation invoice mistakes, shipment discrepancies and unpaid claims. By automating what has traditionally been a manual and time-consuming process, Opereit aims to help logistics operators unlock hidden revenue and improve operational efficiency.

The fresh capital will support product development and expansion as the company scales its AI-driven logistics recovery solution.

“Every month we saw the same black hole carriers overcharging, claims impossible to track, and money lost in processes with little visibility,” said Cousin.
