Spain’s Ona Therapeutics Raises $86.6M In Series B Funding

The round was co-led by new investors Columbus Venture Partners and Mérieux Equity Partners, with participation from COFIDES, Korys, and existing investors including Alta Life Sciences, Asabys Partners, Bpifrance (InnoBio strategy), CDTI through SICC Innvierte, FundPlus NV, and Ysios Capital.

The proceeds will support the clinical development of ONA-255, a lead ADC program targeting breast cancer, and ONA-389, a second ADC aimed at colorectal cancer. Both programs are designed to address treatment-resistant tumor biology and improve therapeutic outcomes in high-need indications.

Ona Therapeutics retains full global commercial rights to its pipeline and continues to advance a patient-driven discovery platform that identifies tumor-specific antigens and optimises targeted drug delivery to cancer cells while reducing toxicity.

The financing marks a key milestone as the company enters clinical development and begins generating early human data. Its leadership team includes experienced oncology and biotech executives driving clinical strategy and development.

Following the round, representatives from Columbus Venture Partners, Mérieux Equity Partners, and Korys will join Ona’s Board of Directors.
