The acquisition represents a strategic step for Macnica ATD Europe
as it looks to strengthen its commercial and engineering operations across Scandinavia and Northern Europe. Through the deal, the company gains access to Indesmatech’s established regional partnerships, internal engineering expertise, and ecosystem-driven business approach, further reinforcing Macnica ATD Europe’s already strong presence in the region.

Indesmatech focuses on several technology sectors including IoT, communications and power, embedded computing, memory and ASIC solutions, as well as audio and sensing applications. These capabilities complement Macnica ATD Europe’s existing portfolio and expand its ability to support customers operating in a wide variety of technology-focused industries.

The go-to-market strategies of both companies are closely aligned. Macnica ATD Europe follows an architecture-driven solutions model that goes beyond supplying individual components by delivering complete end-to-end system solutions for customers. Indesmatech adds a complementary project-led approach that supports customers from chip-level technology selection through to full system-level implementation.

A key factor behind the acquisition is Indesmatech’s “REP 2.0” business model, which combines marketing, design support, production and supply chain management, direct pricing, and project CTO support. This approach closely aligns with Macnica ATD Europe’s strategy of engaging with customers earlier in the product design and development cycle.

The acquisition expands Macnica ATD Europe’s established presence across Denmark, Sweden, Finland, the United Kingdom, and Poland, while also strengthening partner collaborations in Germany through Indesmatech’s existing operations.

Indesmatech was co-founded in 2014 by Soren Manicus and Rune Domsten, both of whom have expressed strong enthusiasm about continuing the company’s growth journey together with Macnica.
