SUMMARY
- London-based fintech Adfin has secured $18 million in Series A funding to scale its AI-powered money movement and cashflow management platform for businesses.
The round was led by Index Ventures, with participation from Visionaries Club, alongside new investors Stéphane Kurgan and Andrey Khusid. The latest raise brings Adfin’s total funding to more than $30 million less than two years after launch.
Founded to tackle inefficiencies in business payments and cashflow operations, Adfin is developing what it calls an “agentic” finance platform that automates invoice management, payments, and cash movement. The company is targeting a persistent issue for UK SMEs, where nearly two-thirds of invoices are paid late.
Adfin combines proprietary payment infrastructure with AI-driven workflows to automate payment collection and improve cashflow visibility for finance teams.

Its platform is designed to identify the most effective payment and follow up actions for each customer while reducing repetitive administrative tasks.
The company believes faster payments and better cash management can significantly improve how businesses operate and scale, particularly smaller firms dealing with working capital pressures.
The new funding will help Adfin expand its platform beyond payment collection into broader cashflow management services, grow its engineering and sales teams, and support international expansion plans.
Tom Pope, co-founder and CEO of Adfin, said the company is focused on building infrastructure that allows finance teams to automate workflows related to payments and cash management while maintaining transparency, auditability, and human oversight.
