Swiss Robotics Company KEMARO Secures $5M Funding In Series B Round

The pre-closing round was led by Spicehaus Partner AG. With a total Series B target of €17 million ($20 million), KEMARO aims to scale rapidly and deploy 10,000 autonomous cleaning robots across Europe and the U.S. in the coming years.

Founded in 2016 KEMARO is a Swiss robotics company specializing in autonomous industrial floor cleaning, with its flagship robot K900 designed for complex, high-debris environments such as logistics centers and manufacturing plants.

The company has sold over 1,500 robots to more than 600 industrial customers worldwide, including major global brands such as Unilever, Nestlé, BMW, and Amazon.

A key focus of the recent Series B financing is aggressive expansion into North America. To support this, co-founder Thomas Oberholzer will relocate to the United States to lead go-to-market efforts.

KEMARO has also established its U.S. subsidiary, KEMARO Inc., and opened its first U.S. office in Atlanta, which will serve as a hub for sales, customer success, and market development.

Alongside expansion, the company is preparing to launch the K700, a new compact robot designed for tighter industrial spaces and lower-clearance environments.
