The round was led by Rotterdamse Havendraken, with participation from Innovation Industries and the Dutch family office Ernij Next.

The company will use the funding to accelerate its expansion across Europe, grow its product offerings, and further enhance its AI-driven control layer.

For over a decade, Smart Robotics has developed AI-powered pick-and-place solutions for warehouse and logistics operations.

Its full-stack robotics platform is built on a proprietary AI control system that allows it to manage high product variety and operational complexity with speed, accuracy, and low error rates.

By combining AI software, robotics hardware, and integrated services, the company aims to drive the next stage of warehouse automation.

Manufacturing automation is now relatively mature, but logistics automation is still underdeveloped despite rising demand. Growth in e-commerce, higher operational complexity, and ongoing labour shortages are increasing the need for automated solutions, especially in robotic pick-and-place systems.

With this funding, Smart Robotics plans to strengthen its position in the automation sector and scale its AI-driven solutions across European markets.
