SUMMARY

  • Kohort has raised $7 million in Series A funding to develop AI-powered user acquisition (UA) agents for mobile game studios. The funding round was led by The Raine Group which had also invested in Kohort’s seed round in 2025.

Kohort believes that successful user acquisition in gaming depends on accurate long-term predictions rather than just short-term campaign optimization.

The company is building an AI-based UA operating system that helps game studios reduce wasted ad spend and grow revenue more efficiently.

The platform uses machine learning and predictive analytics to better understand ad network behavior, player value, and return on ad spend (ROAS).

Based in London, Kohort is led by CEO Dan Marcus, and plans to use the new funding to expand and improve its AI agent suite for the gaming industry.

“We are building agents not just a Claude wrapper and the predictions underneath them, to make that possible. User acquisition is one of the most critical and difficult operations for a mobile gaming studio,” said Dan Marcus, CEO of Kohort. “The best UA teams operate more like high-frequency traders than marketers, and they need agents that act on real context, not vague signals.”
