Roleo Secures €2.9Mn Funding to Help Tech Professionals Find Jobs Using AI

Roleo aims to make job searching easier by helping professionals discover suitable roles without spending time searching for jobs and submitting applications themselves.

The funding round was led by Baltic venture capital firm Practica Capital, with participation from Nordic investor Inventure. The company will use the funding to expand its services across Europe.

“Most people spend years building their careers, but only actively manage them when something goes wrong or they decide it is time for a change. Meanwhile, great opportunities come and go, often without the right people ever hearing about them,” says Janer Gorohhov, co-founder and CEO of Roleo.

“We saw potential in the Roleo founders – their proven operational experience and grounded, yet very high ambition. They came with a clear short-term plan and a long-term vision that’s easy to relate to. Leading this round was a natural fit for us, and we believe they are the team best positioned to set a new standard for how people build their careers,” adds Donatas Keras, Partner at Practica Capital.

Founded in 2025, Roleo is an AI-powered career platform for technology professionals. It helps people find suitable job opportunities and manage their careers without having to spend time constantly searching for new jobs.

The company was founded by Janer Gorohhov, co-founder of identity verification company Veriff, and Vahur Hansen, who was part of Wise's early engineering team and also co-founded startup Membo.

Roleo learns about each user's work experience, career goals and job preferences. It then finds suitable job opportunities across Europe based on their profiles.

When both the candidate and an employer are interested, Roleo connects them directly. This allows professionals to explore new career opportunities without having to search for jobs or submit applications themselves.
