The investment comes at a time when more businesses are using AI agents across different departments and business operations. As companies rely on AI for a wider range of tasks, these systems are being used across multiple teams, software platforms, and technology providers.
As AI adoption grows, organizations are paying more attention to monitoring, managing, and securing their AI systems. Industry experts believe that AI governance, oversight, and security will become even more important in the coming years as businesses continue to deploy more AI agents.
Joan Vendrell, co-founder and CEO of NeuralTrust, said: "As AI agents become increasingly integrated into enterprise operations, organisations are working to establish the controls and governance mechanisms needed to support their use".
He added: "Our mission has not changed since day one: turn AI security into a strategic advantage for the enterprises that will define the next decade".
Founded by Joan Vendrell, Victor Garcia, and Alejandro Domingo, NeuralTrust provides a single platform that helps organizations discover, monitor, manage, and secure AI agents across their systems. This gives companies better visibility and control over how their AI tools operate.
The company monitors millions of AI agent interactions every day. By tracking these activities, it helps organizations identify potential risks and ensure their AI systems are working safely.
According to NeuralTrust, about 1.2% of the AI interactions it monitors require action. These can include attempts to access sensitive information, misuse connected tools, or bypass security controls. The platform detects and blocks these threats in real time to help keep AI systems secure.
