GVC Gaesco Alternative Investments, the investment arm of Barcelona-based financial group GVC Gaesco, has launched a €70 million fund targeting Infratech startups that develop the physical and digital infrastructure of the new economy.

Named Resilient Infratech Ventures FCRE, S.A. (RIF), the fund aims to address a market gap, supporting capital-intensive technology companies that fall between traditional venture capital and conventional infrastructure financing.
Founded in 1971, GVC Gaesco is an independent financial group with over 50 years of experience, specialising in wealth management, securities brokerage, research, and corporate finance & capital markets.
The Resilient Infratech Ventures (RIF) fund will target technologies in energy, industry, and digital infrastructure sectors that are increasingly interdependent in Europe.

It will focus on companies developing energy storage, networks, industrial electrification, automation, resource efficiency, data infrastructure, and other technologies critical to European competitiveness.
RIF will primarily invest in Europe, with particular attention to Spain, Italy, France, and Portugal, and has received approval from the CNMV (Spanish National Securities Market Commission).
