Paris-based generative AI start-up Kleep secures €1.8 million in funding. The company’s goal is to revolutionise internet buying.
According to research, one in three items of clothing bought online are returned, costing merchants an incredible €30 billion a year (€800 million in France alone) and resulting in a significant environmental cost of 35 million tonnes of greenhouse emissions annually worldwide.
Kleep has developed a Generative AI-powered product discovery platform that allows marketers to enhance conversion rates by 15–25 percent and reduce size-related returns by up to 50 percent by enhancing customer confidence and purchase happiness.
Within barely a year of its founding, the business expects to have 20 active clients. It is about to reveal the details of a strategic partnership with a top French retailer that brings in over 50 million visitors annually to its website.
