Mistral AI, a Paris-based artificial intelligence startup, secures €450 million at a $2 billion valuation from investors, including Nvidia Corp and Salesforce.
Nvidia and Salesforce have reportedly decided to contribute an extra €120 million in convertible debt. The study notes that certain elements could yet alter.
The three co-founders of the business, Arthur Mensch, Timothée Lacroix, and Guillaume Lample, have agreed to sell more than €1 million worth of equity apiece.
