xorlab Raises €5 Mn to Expand AI-Powered Email Security Across Europe

The new funding will help xorlab expand across Europe, with a focus on the DACH region, Benelux, and the Nordic countries.

The funding round was led by existing investor Spicehaus Partners. Existing investors Grapha Holding, EquityPitcher Ventures, and ZKB Start-up Finance also participated.

Founded in 2015 by ETH Zurich computer science graduates Antonio Barresi and Matthias Ganz, xorlab provides an AI-powered email security platform.

The platform helps organisations protect themselves from advanced phishing attacks. It can be used across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.

xorlab says European organisations are facing two key challenges: more sophisticated cyberattacks powered by AI and growing concerns about relying heavily on US-based infrastructure and security providers.
