UK-based AI procurement platform Vertice has acquired US software pricing and procurement intelligence company Vendr, strengthening its capabilities in software purchasing, contract negotiations and procurement analytics.

Vertice combines AI-powered insights, agentic workflows, and procurement expertise to help finance and procurement teams manage purchasing decisions more efficiently.
Operating in more than 100 countries the platform enables organisations to review, analyse, and negotiate supplier contracts with greater confidence while reducing costs and accelerating procurement processes.
With the acquisition, Vertice will integrate Vendr’s software pricing benchmarks and market intelligence into its platform. The combined dataset will cover more than $75 billion in global indirect spend across 32,000 vendors, incorporating pricing information and insights from over 250,000 negotiated contracts spanning software and professional services.

The expanded platform will provide customers with deeper visibility into market pricing, vendor performance, contract renewals and negotiation strategies, helping procurement and finance teams make more informed purchasing decisions.
Customers including ARM, Brex, Duolingo, Twilio and Santander will gain direct access to these insights within the Vertice platform, enabling them to benchmark suppliers, optimise spending and improve procurement outcomes.
