SUMMARY

  • The ICT startup nureo has secured CHF 150,000 from Venture Kick to develop intelligent 3D design tools that automate manual engineering work and speed up product development.

Today, creating 3D models is still a slow and repetitive process that can take days or weeks, increasing costs and delaying time-to-market.

nureo solves this by building automated design software that turns user-defined requirements into production-ready 3D geometries.

Engineers set the rules and constraints, while the platform automatically generates optimized designs for different manufacturing needs. This can reduce manual work by up to 90%, improve productivity and speed up iteration cycles.

The company operates in the large CAD and PLM software market, serving industrial manufacturers, OEMs, and engineering firms.

The new funding will help expand the team, improve product development, and convert pilot projects into long-term customers. nureo was founded by Dr. Manuel Biedermann, Dr. Patrick Beutler and Dr. Urs Hofmann, combining strong expertise in engineering and software innovation.

“For us, Venture Kick was far more than a funding program. Through its multi-stage journey of pitching, expert feedback, and dedicated coaching during Kickers-Camps it became a valuable framework for continuously challenging, refining, and advancing our business model,” highlighted co-founder Patrick Beutler.
