SevenGen funding news – Amsterdam-based SevenGen Investment Secures €40Million from EIF

SevenGen focuses on investing in profitable companies in sectors like energy, mobility, construction, and industrial decarbonisation in the Benelux, Germany, and the Nordics.

What sets SevenGen apart is that it targets businesses that are already profitable and have outgrown the venture capital stage, providing growth capital to help them expand and increase their impact.

However the EIF’s commitment depends on meeting certain conditions. This announcement comes about eight months after the EIF opened a new office for the Benelux region in Amsterdam, marking the 10th anniversary of the EIB Group office there.

The European Investment Fund (EIF) is part of the European Investment Bank Group. Its mission is to help small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) in Europe access finance.

The EIF develops venture and growth capital, guarantees, and microfinance instruments aimed at supporting this market segment.
