“This investment is a further validation of the value our Xdrop platform brings to the antibody discovery community. We are now in a strong position to further scale our platform, deepen our partnerships with biopharma and academia, and continue pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in single-cell workflows. This is an important milestone in our mission to make drug-discovery faster, simpler, and more reliable,” said Dr Henrik Pfundheller, CEO of Samplix.

Samplix develops microfluidics technology that helps pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies study individual living cells. Its main product, the Xdrop platform, places cells and testing materials inside millions of tiny, stable droplets. These droplets create controlled environments that allow researchers to study how cells interact with other cells and molecules.
The Xdrop platform works with standard laboratory equipment to analyse and sort large numbers of droplets quickly. It helps researchers identify rare antibody-producing cells based on how they function. Scientists can then recover these living cells for further study and analyse their antibodies while preserving the original pairing of antibody components.
Beyond antibody discovery, Samplix's technology supports research in immunotherapy, cell development, genome editing and other life science fields. The company serves pharmaceutical businesses and academic research institutions worldwide. The detailed data generated by studying individual cells is also becoming increasingly valuable for training advanced AI models.
