Ultimate Performance Partners with Emerald to Expand Preventive Healthcare for Members

Ultimate Performance, a premium personal training company, has partnered with Emerald a preventative healthcare platform, to help members improve their long-term health.

Through this partnership, Ultimate Performance members will get access to a 12-month Emerald membership. The service includes GP support, personalised health plans and comprehensive blood tests that measure 124 health biomarkers.

Emerald combines laboratory tests with a digital platform that brings together health results, wearable device data and medical history. Members will receive a detailed health review covering areas such as heart health, metabolism, hormones, organ function, inflammation, iron levels and nutritional health.

The service aims to help members identify potential health risks earlier and take steps to improve their overall wellbeing. It will also give Ultimate Performance's personal trainers more information about their clients' health, allowing them to create more personalised workout plans and nutrition recommendations.

Ultimate Performance operates 12 locations across the UK. The company offers one-to-one strength training, tailored nutrition plans, personalised meal plans, progress tracking and expert coaching.

As part of the partnership, members will also be connected with a GP who can diagnose health conditions, prescribe medication and make referrals to private healthcare providers or the NHS when needed. This gives members access to medical support beyond their initial health tests.

Emerald was founded by clinicians and is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC). It provides regulated healthcare services, including diagnostic tests, health screenings and treatment. The platform is also registered as a UKCA Class I medical device with the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA).

The partnership marks another step in Emerald's expansion across the health and fitness sector. By working with fitness providers, the company aims to help people spot early signs of potential health problems and access ongoing GP support to improve their long-term health.
