Parabellum Investments, an investment firm focused on enterprise software and fintech, has acquired Crux Informatics a company that provides an AI-powered platform for managing external data.

Many financial institutions struggle to handle large amounts of data from different sources. Crux helps solve this problem by collecting, organizing, and connecting external data, making it easier for businesses to use AI and advanced analytics for better decision-making.

The acquisition will help both companies grow faster. By combining Crux's technology with Parabellum's expertise, they plan to develop new products, expand into international markets and provide better services to Crux's customers.

Crux helps companies manage the entire data process, from collecting data to preparing it for use. Its main products, Sphere and ArrayX, automate data onboarding, processing, and management, making it easier for businesses to work with large amounts of data.

By automating complex tasks such as organizing and mapping data, Crux allows data teams to spend less time managing systems and more time finding valuable business insights.

Crux works with more than 200 data providers, including Morningstar, Moody's Analytics, and MSCI, and connects with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, Databricks, and Snowflake. With support from Parabellum, the company plans to invest more in AI and build advanced data management and analytics solutions for financial institutions.

Rami Cassis, Principal of Parabellum, commented: "Crux plays an essential role in how leading organizations navigate the modern data landscape. They have built the definitive infrastructure for external data, and we are committed to investing in their continued evolution.
