MovitOn Acquires Glocalzone To Grow Decentralised Logistics Network

Founded as a platform connecting travellers with people seeking international deliveries, Glocalzone has grown to more than 1.3 million registered users and facilitated over 600,000 delivery requests across markets including Turkey, Brazil, Mexico, and the United States.

The acquisition will allow MovitOn to integrate Glocalzone’s global user base into its AI-powered logistics ecosystem, which combines courier matching technology with blockchain-based payment and verification systems.

As part of the transition, Glocalzone’s platform and community will become part of MovitOn’s decentralised physical infrastructure network (DePIN), using smart contracts, escrow mechanisms, and token-based transactions to manage deliveries and payments.

Glocalzone co-founder Doğan Turan said the partnership brings together the company’s marketplace experience with MovitOn’s AI-driven logistics technology. Existing users will gradually migrate to MovitOn’s courier-matching platform, where delivery assignments are optimised based on routes, schedules and user reputation.

The platform will continue operating as “Glocalzone by MovitOn” during the integration process, with new loyalty programmes and Web3 payment features, including support for the MVON token, expected to roll out over time.

Doğan Turan, co-founder of Glocalzone, said the integration would combine the company’s existing marketplace with MovitOn’s AI-powered delivery infrastructure.
