Instarc builds compliance tools for financial companies and other regulated businesses. Its platform helps these businesses meet important regulatory requirements and manage compliance more easily.
The company is initially focusing on South Africa, where financial and other regulated businesses must follow rules under the Financial Intelligence Centre Act (FICA). These rules include customer identification, due diligence, and reporting requirements.
"We founded Instarc on the belief that compliance should not be a bottleneck. By combining advanced technology with intelligent data architecture, we created a platform that enables regulated organisations to onboard customers faster, reach revenue sooner, reduce operational friction and scale with confidence, "said Jonathan Revell, CEO of Instarc.

Instarc’s cloud-based platform helps businesses onboard customers digitally. It can verify customer identities and ownership information while supporting customer due diligence and other compliance checks.
The platform also helps businesses manage documents, handle compliance cases, prepare regulatory reports, and keep records for audits.
Instarc also offers APIs that allow companies to connect these tools with their existing systems and software. This makes it easier for businesses to add compliance features without changing their entire setup.
Instarc will use the new funding to speed up the launch of its platform among banks, financial institutions, and other regulated businesses in South Africa.
The company has built its system to be flexible and easy to scale across different regulatory environments. This could help Instarc expand into other markets in the future.
