Project 3 Mobility 

Zagreb-based Project 3 Mobility secures €100 million in series A round funding. The startup has reached a major milestone in its quest to transform urban transportation by raising an astounding €100 million from private investors.

Project 3 Mobility team, which is diverse, is reshaping mobility in the future. They are creating an innovative urban ecosystem system with professionals from over 20 different sectors and countries, all focused on providing a premium, easy-to-use, and safe user experience.

Starship Technologies 

Estonian-based Starship Technologies Secures $90 Million in Funding Since its 2014 launch, Starship’s delivery robots have been a familiar sight on US and European streets. The firm has transformed last-mile delivery and is currently the world’s leading autonomous delivery service, having completed more than six million deliveries.

Starship Technologies is redefining the last mile delivery industry. They build self-driving local delivery robots that are safe, reliable, clean and cost efficient. Starship was launched by Skype co-founders, Ahti Heinla and Janus Friis in 2014. Just a few years later, their robots are now doing thousands of deliveries a day in towns, cities and campuses across the world.

Episode 1

London-based Episode 1 Secures its Third Fund at £76 Million. Episode 1’s most recent funding vehicle calls for the company to make 10 to 15 pre-seed and seed-stage investments annually, mostly in UK-based firms, while it also states that it is open to considering startups headquartered in the US and Continental Europe.

Episode 1 is a venture capital firm that makes Pre-Seed and Seed investments in B2B software enterprises. It has backed successful businesses like Carwow, CloudNC, Raft, Robin AI, TouchSurgery, Zoopla, Omnipresent, and Attest. In the first episode, teams with exceptional insight into developing or emerging markets are given investments ranging from £500k to £3m.

Heura

Barcelona-based Heura secures €40 million in series B round funding. Plant-based manufacturing Upfield partnered with Unovis Asset Management in this round, which also included New Tree Impact and well-known food tech fund European Circular Bioeconomy Fund (ECBF VC).

Pennylane 

Paris-based fintech startup Pennylane secures €40 million in series C round funding from Sequoia Capital and DST Global, reflecting very strong growth over the past two years.

The financial OS (Operating System) for European SMEs is being developed by Pennylane. a single source of truth for financial and accounting data that is utilised by their accountant for bookkeeping and tax filings and by entrepreneurs to manage their businesses (paying suppliers, managing expenses, piloting cash and profitability, and invoicing and receiving payment).

Xensam

Xensam secures $40million growth funding. The company wants to grow its operations in the US and Europe and invest the money in the development of AI products.

Tuum 

Tallinn-based Tuum secures €25 million series B round funding. CommerzVentures led this round, and Speedinvest and previous investors also participated.

At Tuum, their mission is to allow banks to replace their legacy systems quickly and safely, to lower their maintenance spending and to open up new possibilities to adapt and prosper in the digital world; in short, to set them free. They employ a smart migration approach to help banks to move off their current systems. Using this approach, their clients go-live on average within 7 months.

Daedalus 

Karlsruhe-based Daedalus secures $21million in a series A round funding. The company states that the NGP Capital-led investment would be used to scale Daedalus’ German production facilities in addition to further developing the company’s Manufacturing AI platform.

The most cutting-edge precision component factories in the world are being constructed by Daedalus. With a team from OpenAI, Google, SpaceX, and Blue Horizon and $40 million in funding from Khosla Ventures, Addition, NGP Capital, and Y Combinator, they are developing software-defined factories to produce parts for businesses in the machinery, aerospace, semiconductor, energy, and other industries.

Pixee Medical 

France-based Pixee Medical secures $15million in funding. Relyens Innovation Santé, UI Investissement, Innovacom, Angelor, and Bpifrance led the round.

Founded in October 2017, Pixee Medical aims to provide high-performing, cost-effective surgical solutions that leverage cutting-edge computer vision and artificial intelligence technology, all while navigating the complex landscape of the health system.

UK-based Navro secures USD14million in funding. Leading the round were Unusual Ventures, Bain Capital, and Motive Partners, with previous investor Fin Capital also participating.

Navro offers businesses access to the world’s top payment infrastructure through a single contract and API, facilitating them seamless expansion into international markets. eradicating barriers and facilitating smoother business scaling than ever before.
