Unitary, a firm based in London that specializes in the moderation of visual data, has raised $15 million in a Series A raising money round. Creandum of Stockholm lead the startup's Series A investment, which included additional financiers Paladin Group Capital and Plural.

Unitary, a firm based in London that specializes in the moderation of visual data, has raised $15 million in a Series A raising money round. Creandum of Stockholm lead the startup's Series A investment, which included additional financiers Paladin Group Capital and Plural.

The funding coincides with Unitary growing into more than one language, expanding the staff to 53 members, and tripling the daily films it classifies to 6 million.

Contextual AI is utilized by the corporation to automate filtering of content and keep out bad actors, such as NSFW content.
