ETFbook, a data and analytics platform for exchange-traded funds (ETFs) based in Zurich, has raised €4M in its Series A funding round, led by BlackFin Capital Partners.

The Swiss startup provides a complete data and analytics platform through a web app and APIs. In addition to Zurich, it operates in key European cities like London, Paris, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, and Dublin. Since launching in mid-2020, ETFbook has grown quickly and now serves over 35 institutional clients
ETF expert Arnaud Llinas, former head of Amundi ETFs and Lyxor ETFs, who advised and co-invested with BlackFin Capital Partners, says, “The ETF market is poised for continued growth, particularly among wealth and retail investors. With over 40 new ETFs launched weekly and significant flows dynamic across all asset classes, market participants require a centralised tool to navigate and understand evolving investment trends. ETFbook’s experienced team has developed a comprehensive platform that should be a valuable addition to every investor’s toolkit.”
It will use the funding to hire skilled professionals in product development, data science, sales, and marketing.

The company plans to improve its platform with advanced AI, expand its data coverage, and speed up growth. It is also getting ready to enter the US market later this year.
