The company targets a major bottleneck in quantum computing scalability: the difficulty of controlling millions of qubits without overwhelming systems with excessive cabling, heat, and external electronics.
Its approach involves developing cryo-electronic systems that operate closer to the quantum processor, reducing infrastructure load and enabling more scalable quantum architectures.
James Kroll, CEO and co-founder of FrostByte: “With this investment, we can further develop our technology towards manufacturable cryo-electronics for the global quantum industry.”
About FrostByte
FrostByte makes special electronics that work in extremely cold temperatures for quantum technology. The company builds reliable high-quality hardware designed to perform in harsh conditions. Its goal is to support progress in quantum computing and scientific research by providing advanced technology used around the world.
