[Funding alert] London-based Dawn Capital Secures $700million For B2B Software Fund

Dawn Capital has secured $700 million, of which $620 million will go to its particular early-stage B2B software fund and the remainder of $80 million will go to a follow-on fund.
According to the company, 50 percent of commitments have come from present LPs and 50 percent have come from fresh investors from the US, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. These investors, who naturally consist of up of sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, endowments, funds of funds, family offices, and high net worth people, are spread across the US, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

Dawn V, the company's $620 million primary vehicle, will support growing European B2B software companies with initial tickets priced from $10 and $40 million at Series A or Series B stages.
