This lack of connected systems creates several problems. Companies often face inefficiencies, have limited visibility into their spending, and end up with higher operating costs.
The issue is especially common in Europe’s manufacturing sector, but it affects thousands of industrial businesses worldwide that still rely heavily on manual procurement processes.
Founded in Milan in 2024 by Edoardo Arbizzi and Edoardo Gava, Compri helps solve procurement challenges with an AI-powered platform that works like a digital assistant for procurement and supply chain teams. The platform gathers and organizes data from ERP systems, emails, spreadsheets, PDFs, and external databases in one place.
Its AI agents can automate routine tasks such as following up with suppliers, collecting documents, monitoring compliance, and checking order confirmations. This reduces the amount of manual work required from procurement teams.
By combining advanced AI models with procurement-specific knowledge, the platform becomes more accurate over time. This allows teams to spend less time on administrative tasks and focus more on supplier negotiations, strategic purchasing, and cost savings.
Compri says its platform is already used by more than 40 customers. The software helps procurement teams reduce workloads while gaining better visibility and control over their spending.
The new funding will be used to improve Compri’s platform, hire more employees, and expand its presence in important industrial markets across Europe and other region.
