Clementine Secures €1.7 Mn Seed Funding for AI-Powered Hearing Care Platform

The platform is designed to help hearing clinics follow up with potential customers and improve the process of converting leads into actual patients.

The funding round was led by Healthy.Capital, an Amsterdam-based early-stage HealthTech investor. The firm has previously invested in companies such as Pharmi, MS Sherpa, OpenUp, Datamonk, and Clear.bio.

Clementine was founded in 2024 and is based in Maastricht, in the Dutch province of Limburg. The company was started by Vince van de Weijer, who is its founder and CEO. It is also known as ClementineAI.

The company says Clementine is the world’s first AI hearing activation platform designed specifically for the hearing-care industry. Its goal is to help people take the next step toward getting hearing care.

At the heart of the platform is Matthew, Clementine’s AI hearing-care agent. Matthew can talk to potential patients 24/7, answer their questions, and provide information without judgment or waiting times. It also helps users deal with emotional and practical concerns and guides them toward the right care.
