Removing Bias From Hiring Process
Leaving behind his secure career, Diorinos decided to pursue something that would have the potential to drive significant, positive change.
Recognizing the gaps in the hiring process, particularly the over-reliance on just 20% of resume information, he realized that many HR tools, while seemingly useful, lacked a foundation in solid research or science. This insight became a wake-up call, sparking his entrepreneurial drive.
Diorinos saw an opportunity to bridge this gap by integrating psychometrics—scientific tools for measuring personality and abilities—ensuring that HR methods were both reliable and evidence-based. With a shared vision, Markellos Diorinos, Hassan Chahrour, and Guy Krief teamed up to shape the future of work, enabling businesses to unlock their full potential.

From Concept To Creation
In 2017, co-founders Markellos Diorinos, Hassan Chahrour, and Guy Krief teamed up to create Bryq, a Talent Intelligence platform designed to eliminate bias from the hiring process. Rather than focusing solely on a candidate's past professional experience, Bryq evaluates who people are and what they are capable of.
Bryq helps companies make faster, smarter talent management decisions from hiring to retirement. By integrating psychometrics with existing HR data (such as performance and organizational metrics), the platform provides valuable insights supporting hiring, growing, and retaining decisions.
Based in St. Petersburg, Florida, Bryq offers its Software-as-a-Service platform to help businesses improve their hiring process by removing bias. The platform empowers CEOs, HR professionals, and hiring managers with objective data on candidates' skills and personalities, enabling them to make better, faster, and bias-free hiring decisions.
