The European Union’s Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) updated under the Omnibus I package and scheduled for implementation in July 2029 will require large companies in the EU to identify and manage human rights and environmental risks across their entire value chains. Similar forced labour regulations are already in force in countries including the United States and Germany.
These regulations are driving strong demand for deeper supply chain visibility, including supplier-level risk assessment and documentation beyond Tier 1 suppliers.
By integrating Bendi’s technology into its platform, Worldly aims to help companies meet compliance requirements at scale while reducing blind spots in global supply chains.
“We started Bendi because fewer than half of companies have full visibility into their supply chain, and visibility falls off fastest exactly where the risk is highest, deep in the tiers where labor and environmental harm are most likely to occur. That’s the problem we’ve spent years solving,” said Mandeep Soor, Co-founder & CEO, Bendi. “Joining Worldly means we can bring that capability to the brands and manufacturers that need it urgently, and at a scale that simply wasn’t possible independently.”
