[Funding alert] London-based Unwritten Secures $3.5Million in Seed Funding

The business measures the effects of climate events brought on by global warming and takes it into account when analysing macroeconomic patterns. Its software models the intricate relationships between different industries, geographies, policies, and technology by utilising big data approaches.

The co-founders of Unwritten first collaborated on climate analytics software while working as data leads at US espionage tech company Palantir Technologies. They raised £750k in Pre-Seed finance before founding Unwritten in 2022.

Leading the investment was London-based software venture capital firm Connect Ventures, with additional VC and angel investors from academics and business, including Sand River and Adapt Nation Capital, and climate venture capital firm Planet A Ventures.
