Spotable Gets €4Mn to Grow Its AI-Powered Platform for Contractors

The funding round was arranged by investment broker The Harbour. Investors include Jonas Dhaenens of team.blue, Christophe Morbee of NewSchool.vc, and the family office of Hilde Cloostermans and Philip Corens.

Arne Vandendriessche, former CEO of Signpost and the newly appointed CEO of Get Driven, is also investing in Spotable. The company plans to use the funding to strengthen its technology and support its international growth.

"Software for roofers wasn't exactly the obvious foundation for an international technology company eighteen months ago. That's precisely where we saw an opportunity: giving contractors technology that's fast, reliable and easy to use. No more paperwork, just real results, "said Sebastien Vandendriessche, co-founder and CEO of Spotable.

Spotable starts with a building’s address and uses location data and artificial intelligence to measure the building digitally. It then creates a 3D model of the structure.

The platform can estimate the amount of materials needed, connect them with prices, create quotes, and help manage the process through to ordering materials.

Spotable was founded in 2024 by Sebastien Vandendriessche (CEO), Julie Dumoulin (CRO), and Pieter-Jan Philips (CTO). The company first built software to help small roofing businesses make measuring projects and preparing quotes easier.

The founders launched the first version of Spotable just three months after starting the company. About a year ago, they began offering the platform to customers commercially.
