Prelude Raises €17.2M Series A Funding Led by 20VC To Expand Trust Platform

Founded in 2023 by Matias Berny and Quentin Le Bras, Prelude helps businesses verify, protect, and manage users throughout their entire lifecycle.

Its platform combines telecom data, behavioural signals, and machine learning to make continuous trust decisions that reduce fraud while improving customer conversion.

Prelude aims to solve common onboarding challenges such as fraud-related SMS costs, user drop-offs during verification, and delayed fraud detection. To address these issues, the company combines multiple services including identity verification, fraud prevention, customer trust tools, and device intelligence into one integrated platform.

According to the company, customers using Prelude reduce verification costs by an average of 40% while improving onboarding performance and user conversion rates.
