[Funding alert] London-based OctaiPipe Secures £3Million in Pre-Series A Round Funding

The business will use the money to expand the platform's availability for Internet of Things (IoT)-dependent vital industries like energy, utilities, telecoms, manufacturing, and connected device OEMs. It also plans to further develop its unique Federated Learning engine.

OctaiPipe, founded in 2022 and headed by CEO Eric Topham, offers a reliable end-to-end Federated Learning Operations (FL-Ops) platform to data scientists and AI engineers working in Critical Infrastructure.

With the OctaiPipe platform, customers can effortlessly coordinate and manage distributed machine learning across scalable networks of intelligent Internet of Things devices, as well as deploy and automate AI to the Edge. Currently in deployment with over 20 customers and device OEMs, the OctaiPipe platform is offered as a Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Private Cloud Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS).

Octaipipe has announced the appointment of Arnaud Lagarde as Chief Revenue Officer in addition to the funding. The commercial development of Octaipipe will be headed by Mr. Lagarde.

Mr. Lagarde oversaw the global sales efforts and go-to-market initiatives across automotive, autonomous vehicle, and smart city solution providers at Humanising Autonomy prior to joining Octaipipe.
