[Funding alert] Swedish Deep Technology Company N-ink wins €1M from Voima Ventures

Scientists at Linköping University in Sweden's Laboratory of Organic Electronics founded N-ink in 2020. The business offers scalable, high-performing conductive polymers that enhance solar cell and battery performance and are helpful in printed electronics, the Internet of Things, and bioelectronics.

Silicon chips, which provide processing, and a wide range of specialised flexible polymer devices, which offer sensing and charging, are generally combined to create IoT technology.

When taken together, these systems allow for the easy integration of new functions and materials, like paper, fabrics, and large-area carriers. However, devices that rely on the balanced transfer of positive (holes) and negative (electrons) charges are required for low-power operation and greater functionality.

N-Ink produces and offers n-type inks with unmatched performance in order to meet this challenge. Its proprietary n-Inks are comparable to p-type inks sold in stores and are very conductive, stable, and easy to handle.

Early-stage Nordic and Baltic startups and research teams with ground-breaking science-based inventions were the focus of the Science Challenge. N-ink wins the challenge and gets a €1 million investment from Voima Ventures in the form of a convertible note.
