The three co-founders of the business, Arthur Mensch, Timothée Lacroix, and Guillaume Lample, have agreed to sell more than €1 million worth of equity apiece.

About Mistral AI

A platform called Mistral AI brings together groups of people to develop generative AI models. The French firm specialised on generative AI tools and chatbots using open-source technologies. The company's creators have worked on extensive language models akin to those created by OpenAI.
