Mindset AI Funding News- UK-Based Mindset AI raises £4.3M in funding

The funding round was led by Edge VC and Pembroke VCT, with help from Mountside Ventures. Previous backers like Mercia and angel investors also joined in. So far, Mindset AI has raised a total of £8.09 million.

The fresh proceeds will help improve its tools for building AI (including APIs, SDKs, and no-code options), and grow its sales and marketing. The team also plans to use part of the funds to expand into the U.S., starting with a Chicago office.

Founded in 2019 by the team behind Workshare (a secure file-sharing service later acquired by Litera), Mindset AI lets SaaS companies easily build AI features without starting from scratch. Its platform helps create AI agents that talk in natural language and use the company’s own content and expertise.

The company has grown fast—revenue went up by 120% year-on-year, and it hit £1 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) in October 2024. This growth is credited to its strong team and co-founder/CEO Barrie Hadfield, a seasoned tech entrepreneur.

Mindset AI is already being used in SaaS products for learning, HR, and media. Clients include Alison, Fuse Universal, SkillPath, and Mintra. Over 2,700 companies now use its AI agents.

One client saw course signups jump by 900% just three weeks after launching an AI-powered search tool—earning 3.4x more revenue than those without it. Another saw a 30% drop in team workload within a month of using an AI support agent.
