SUMMARY
- Linexa, a Munich-based startup, has raised €2 million in pre-seed funding, led by Project A, with participation from angel investors Thomas Böck, Bastian Nominacher, and Christian Schlögel.
Founded in late 2025, Linexa is developing a platform that decodes legacy industrial automation systems across multiple vendors, enabling AI-driven monitoring and optimisation of production lines.
By making complex systems more transparent and adaptable, the company helps manufacturers modernise operations and improve resilience.
European manufacturing is under growing pressure, with job cuts increasing while highly automated production advances globally.

At the same time many factories still rely on decades old control systems that combine technologies from different vendors. This fragmentation reduces visibility and makes even small system changes risky and costly.

Linexa tackles this challenge by providing a unified view of production systems and enabling AI-based, autonomous optimisation. Unlike solutions focused on business processes or sensor data, its technology works directly at the machine control level, translating operational logic into a single data model.
In practice, this allows manufacturers to better understand and adapt their operations, for example, analysing control systems during product changeovers to identify risks early and reduce downtime.
With the new funding, Linexa plans to further advance its technology and support manufacturers in navigating an increasingly competitive global landscape.
Every production site that closes in Germany and Europe, every hidden champion acquired by foreign investors, weakens our economic strength and with it Europe's independence. A strong manufacturing industry is the foundation of our prosperity. Linexa gives manufacturers control over their own operations again and strengthens their competitiveness, said Viktor Stryczek, co-founder and co-CEO.
