Gendo, an AI platform that helps architects and designers quickly create high-quality visuals from sketches, 2D drawings, or text, has raised €5.1 million in seed funding.

The round was led by PT1 and LEA Partners, with support from Concept Ventures and Helm Capital, building on €1 million in pre-seed funding four months earlier.
Gendo now has over 2,500 users worldwide who have produced more than 50,000 images for 5,000 projects. Early adopters include top firms like Zaha Hadid Architects, KPF, David Chipperfield Architects, and Benoy.

Patrik Schumacher, principal at Zaha Hadid Architects, also joins Gendo as an advisor, bringing his architectural and AI expertise to help guide the company’s product and market approach.

Gendo’s seed funding will help expand its AI capabilities and develop features for large clients, including custom workflows and licensing options. With a growing user base, including top architecture firms, it’s platform is proving its value in the architectural visualization field.
