
e-peas, a Belgian semiconductor company that develops ultra-low-power energy harvesting and power management solutions, has raised €19.2 million ($22 million) in a new funding round.
The funding was led by Crédit Mutuel Innovation, with support from its Belgian branch and SFPI, the Belgian federal investment fund.

Existing investors also took part in the round, including the European Innovation Council (EIC), Wallonie Entreprendre, KBC Focus Fund, Otium, Nomainvest, The Faktory, and Invest BW.

The company will use the new funding to grow its business, expand into new international markets, and launch more products. The funding round also helped e-peas simplify its shareholder structure.

Founded in 2014 by Geoffroy Gosset and Julien De Vos, e-peas, which stands for Electronic Portable Energy Autonomous Systems, is a Belgian company that develops ultra-low-power semiconductor technology. The company is headquartered in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, and also has offices in Switzerland and the United States.
Its technology helps industrial and IoT device makers extend battery life and reduce the need for battery replacements. This allows devices to operate for longer while maintaining reliable performance.
