SUMMARY
- Volteum, a fleet management platform for electric and mixed vehicle fleets, has raised €2.5 million in a funding round led by Movens Capital, with participation from WakeUp Capital and Aidiom, as well as follow-on investment from existing investors Day One Capital, Techstars, and Nesprit.
The round brings the company’s total funding to €3.75 million and will support its expansion across the UK, Benelux, and DACH regions.
As fleet electrification accelerates across Europe, operators are increasingly managing mixed fleets of diesel, petrol, and electric vehicles.
This shift has introduced new operational challenges that traditional fleet management systems were not built to handle, including charging coordination, battery health tracking, home-charging reimbursement and maintenance planning.

Many fleet managers still rely on fragmented software, spreadsheets and legacy telematics tools which limits visibility into vehicle performance energy consumption and operating costs. For large fleets, these inefficiencies can lead to substantial avoidable expenses.

Volteum aims to solve these issues with a unified platform that brings together fleet data such as charging activity, mileage and maintenance records. It integrates directly with data already collected by vehicle manufacturers, removing the need for additional hardware and enabling fleets to be onboarded within days.
The platform also leverages aggregated fleet data to automate reporting, optimise daily operations, and detect unusual vehicle or charging behaviour before it leads to higher costs or downtime.
Its recommendations on charging, maintenance, battery health, and utilisation are continuously improved using more than three billion operational fleet data points.
By helping operators detect maintenance issues before they escalate into costly failures and identify inefficient charging behaviour, Volteum claims its platform can cut operational costs by up to 30%. The company also offers an Electric Fleet Planner workflow to support organisations in developing long-term, cost-effective electrification strategies.
Volteum already counts organisations such as Royal Mail, Bolt, Lex Autolease, Schneider Electric, OTP Bank, NG Bailey, and Dundee City Council among its customers.
The company plans to expand its focus on logistics providers, utilities, and vehicle leasing and rental firms, as demand grows for tools that can manage increasingly complex mixed fleets.
Zsófia Tóth, co-founder and CEO of Volteum, said the company helps fleet managers at every stage of transitioning from diesel vehicles to electric fleets.
We built Volteum to work for fleet managers regardless of where they are in the transition from diesel to electric. Our goal isn’t to push managers into electrifying their entire fleet, but rather to give them the knowledge and the tools to make the most cost-effective decisions.
