DesignVerse Raises $5.5M To Modernise Enterprise Software With AI

The round was backed by Begin Capital, Gapminder VC, Underline Ventures, and angel investors from Adobe, LSEG, and UiPath. Earlier, the company raised $850,000 in pre-seed funding to develop its platform and collaborate with initial enterprise partners.

Founded by former Oracle product design lead Andrei Manolache and software engineer Robert Dragutoiu, DesignVerse builds AI-driven infrastructure for organisations managing large-scale software systems in industries such as aviation, finance, cybersecurity, and government.

Its platform creates software using a company’s existing design systems, component libraries, documentation and internal standards, helping businesses develop applications that align with their current architecture and engineering requirements.

The goal is to reduce inefficiencies between design and engineering teams, which often slow development in large enterprises.

While AI coding tools have simplified prototyping and app creation, many businesses still struggle to deploy AI-generated software in environments that demand high levels of security, compliance, and reliability.

DesignVerse says its technology is specifically designed for enterprise and mission-critical systems, ensuring safe integration with existing infrastructure.

The newly raised capital will support the expansion of DesignVerse’s engineering team and fuel its growth across enterprise markets in Europe and the United States.

Andrei Manolache, CEO of DesignVerse, said large organisations still spend significant time translating product design into production-ready software, often leading to inefficiencies between teams.

DesignVerse removes that friction by allowing teams to generate functional enterprise applications directly from their design systems, validate behaviour earlier with stakeholders, and streamline the transition from design to production.
