Hymeth’s first 25kW system is ready for field use, and the company is now working on larger 250kW units aimed at replacing fossil fuels in industrial sectors and strengthening energy supply at critical nodes.
Torkel Elgh, the chairman of Hymeth´s board, emphasised: We are taking a vital step to scale-up the Hymeth electrolysers catering for the global demand for highly efficient green hydrogen production. Hymeth is in a good position and welcome our new strong lead investor with industrial and commercial acumen, long-term commitment as well as devotion to commercialising new technologies and building industries. It is very motivating to embark on this journey and work even harder together to reach what we jointly want to achieve.
The new funding will support Hymeth’s commercial rollout of its 25kW units and the continued development of its larger 250kW industrial systems.
It also secures the company’s hiring plans and helps strengthen strategic partnerships with utilities, industrial clients, and other key stakeholders.
The round is led by Thisbe AB (a FAM-owned company), with strong backing from existing investors, including Antler.
This investment will help bring Hymeth’s cost-effective, energy-efficient electrolysis technology to market—supporting industrial decarbonization efforts in the Nordics and globally.
