Austria’s Noreja Raises €1.1M To Scale AI Process Intelligence Platform

The round includes participation from both new and existing investors such as Markus Neumayr, Jan Sprengnetter, Prof. Martin Kaiser, and Gordana McNamara, who will also act as an advisor focusing on go-to-market strategy and fractional CCO support.

Founded in 2021 as a spin-off from the Vienna University of Economics and Business by Dr Lukas Pfahlsberger, Dr Philipp Waibel, and Prof. Dr Jan Mendling, Noreja helps organisations analyse and optimise complex business processes using AI and knowledge graphs.

The company’s approach, called Generative Process Intelligence, combines AI with structured process data to identify inefficiencies, dependencies, and improvement opportunities. AI agents further support autonomous optimisation of processes.

Noreja’s platform includes several core modules: a dashboard for tracking process metrics, an analyser for deep process exploration, Minerva an AI assistant that enriches insights with contextual business knowledge and a workbench for data scientists to work directly with the knowledge graph using Python in a Jupyter-like environment.

Through this integrated system, Noreja aims to deliver one of the most advanced process intelligence solutions for modern enterprises.
