Barcelona-based FashionTech startup Artiso has raised more than €3 million in a pre-seed funding round. The round was fully funded through equity investment. The company is developing an AI-powered operating system designed to help fashion teams manage their work more efficiently.
SUMMARY
- Artiso raised more than €3 million in a pre-seed round.
- Criteria Venture Tech led the round, with participation from Swanlaab Venture Factory, Bynd Venture Capital and angel investors.
- Artiso was founded in 2025 by Sarah Iglesias Hiller, Lucas Pastur Romay and Matthias Brenninkmeijer, who previously worked at Mango.
Criteria Venture Tech led the funding round and has supported Artiso since the company came out of stealth. The investment will help the startup develop its platform and grow its business.
Other investors include Swanlaab Venture Factory and Bynd Venture Capital. Business angels David Tomás, co-founder of Cyberclick, and Nicolaj Reffstrup, founder and former CEO of GANNI, also participated. Reffstrup invested through his investment firm, Look Up Ventures.
“I spent years leading creative teams that had to orchestrate every step of a collection across tools that never spoke to each other. So we built the operating system we always needed: one that knows each brand’s archive, its customers and its taste, and that is already running inside fashion companies today. AI is changing how every collection is imagined, made and shown, and with Artiso, creativity, not complexity, defines fashion’s next era,” said Sarah Iglesias Hiller, co-founder and CEO, Artiso.

“We designed Artiso for the people who make fashion: creative directors, designers, pattern makers, merchandisers. It is intuitive, it remembers each brand and adapts to how every team works, and it connects every step, from the first moodboard to the tech pack and the campaign, in one operating system,” commented Pastur Romay.

Artiso was founded in Barcelona in 2025 by Iglesias Hiller, Lucas Pastur Romay, its Chief Product Officer (CPO), and Matthias Brenninkmeijer, its Chief Technology Officer (CTO). The founders previously worked at Mango and have been working together since 2022.
The startup emerged from stealth in July 2025. It is developing an AI-powered operating system designed specifically for the fashion industry. The platform aims to help fashion teams manage different stages of their work in one place.
Artiso's platform connects the entire fashion product development process, from gathering inspiration and creating designs to preparing products for production. It also supports tasks such as creating technical product documents, styling and generating campaign images. The system uses each brand's own data and information to support its work.
According to Artiso, the fashion industry has significant potential to benefit from AI. Fashion brands regularly create new products and adapt to changing trends every season. The company aims to use AI to help teams manage these changes, improve their workflows and work more efficiently.
