SUMMARY
- Ghent-based Aikido, the get-it-done security platform for developers and SMEs, secures over €15.8 million in fresh series A round funding.
- Series A round was led by Singular.vc, joined by Notion Capital and Connect Ventures.
It is now the fastest-capitalized business in Belgian history, having secured €5 million in initial finance in just six months prior to this round. The money will go towards growing the platform, launching it on a global scale, and making security more accessible to developers and SMEs.
Henri Tilloy, who led the round at Singular.vc, said: "It simplifies security for developers with an all-in-one platform that consolidates all necessary code and cloud security scanners in one place. It features a simple UI with a freemium self-service model so developers can easily help themselves. Aikido has an incredibly pragmatic and unique approach to security. It’s simple, leverages open-source, and is easy to set up and use for developers; yet it ticks all the boxes for their company’s compliance and security requirements in one go.”
