Turkish mobile gaming startup Agave Games has raised $18 million in Series A funding, bringing its total funding to $25.5 million, with a valuation of around $100 million.

The company was founded by four former high school friends turned game developers: Alper Oner, Burak Kar, Baran Terzioglu, and Oguzhan Merdivenli.
In August, they released a "Where’s Wally"-style game, which was downloaded 10 million times in its first quarter. Felix Capital and Balderton Capital co-led the funding round, with E2VC also participating. All three investors are returning backers.

Balderton Capital, which previously invested in Dream Games’ seed round (now a unicorn), has a portfolio that includes companies like Codemasters, Big Fish Games, Mojiworks, Natural Motion, and Wooga.
Turkey is known for its strong gaming industry, especially in mobile and AI-based game development. Recently, Spyke Games raised $50 million, bringing its total funding to over $100 million. Other gaming companies like Grand Games ($3 million), Mage Games ($3.5 million), and Fuse Games ($2 million) also received funding.
