Audiological Science funding news – London-based Audiological Science Secures £12.4Million in Funding

The funding will help the company grow and expand into new NHS regions as public health services in the UK face pressure to meet local needs.

Founded in 2014, Audiological Science now works with nine NHS Integrated Care Boards across England to plan and provide health services for local communities.

Deep Patel, managing director at Audiological Science said, “YFM are helping us to lay the foundations for the next phase of our growth journey. Their financial support is complemented by leading strategic insight, which will ensure we’re perfectly positioned to achieve our scale-up ambitions,”.

As the company expands, Patel will be joined by Jon Lowe, the former CEO of Connect Health, as the new non-executive chair, and Phil Semke as CFO.

Audiological Science offers various ear health products, including hearing tests and hearing aids. A 2024 study from the universities of Manchester and Nottingham found that over a quarter of people in the UK have some form of hearing loss.

Although hearing loss is often linked to older people, a study by the audio health startup Eargym found that a quarter of people aged 16 to 35 also showed early signs of hearing loss.
