Paris-based AI startup Actionable has raised €8.5 million ($10 million) in a new funding round. The company helps large businesses use customer data to better understand satisfaction and predict what customers may do next.
SUMMARY
- Actionable has raised €8.5 million ($10 million) in new funding.
- The round was led by Hi inov, with Axeleo Capital also increasing its investment.
- Actionable was founded in 2024 by Nans Thomas and Nicolas Rieul.
Actionable’s AI platform can identify customers who are likely to leave, raise a complaint, or make another purchase. It also helps businesses understand why customers may take these actions, allowing teams to make better decisions.
The latest funding round was led by Hi inov, while existing investor Axeleo Capital also increased its investment in the company. Actionable had previously raised €2 million in pre-seed funding in September 2024.
“Value is moving from collecting data to intelligence. Enterprises still pay heavily to store and to measure data, when what is missing is the layer that explains and proposes a plan of action, for teams and for AI systems alike. Actionable owns that layer on customer data, and that is an asset no enterprise outsources,” said Valérie Gombart, co-founder and CEO of Hi inov.

“For fifteen years, I sat in the same Monday morning meeting: a dashboard says satisfaction or revenue is down two points, everyone around the table looks for an explanation, and nobody can say which customers to call the next day or what to decide right now. The measurement existed. The granularity a decision needs did not. That is the layer we built,” said Rieul, co-founder and co-CEO of Actionable.
“Putting an LLM on top of a data warehouse is not enough: without business context, an AI reads raw tables very badly. The hard part is turning hundreds of tables and in-house definitions into a customer model a machine can use without getting it wrong. That is what we spent two years building, industry by industry,” said Thomas, co-founder and co-CEO.
Actionable was founded in 2024 by Nans Thomas and Nicolas Rieul. The company has developed a platform that predicts customer satisfaction across an entire customer base on a daily basis.
The startup focuses on turning large amounts of customer data into useful insights. Instead of simply showing businesses reports and numbers, Actionable aims to tell companies which customers need attention and what action they should take.
The company has spent the past two years building its technology across different industries to make customer data easier for AI systems to understand and use.
Actionable plans to use the new funding to expand its product, engineering, and sales teams. The company will also focus on international growth by working with reseller partners and expanding its presence in the US market.
